AN: This is a One Shot that I did. It just came to me and I HAD to post it. Please Read and Rate!
I remember the first time she came. Thunder boomed, rain poured down like there was no tomorrow. I lay awake in my room listening to the soothing sound of the rain as hits my bedroom window violently.
I heard a small almost undetectable knock at my door. "Yes! Come in!" I called as another flash of lightning lighted up my room. The door slowly opened. "Yoh…. Can I…. um…. Stay with you tonight?" came the voice of my pale fiancée Anna. She was shaking a little from the cold.
I remembered back to when we were young. Anna had never liked storms then. She had always been scared of them. Although I'm not quite sure why. Mind you now I think about it Anna likes the quiet. Anyway not that she would actually admit to being scared of a simple storm.
A gave her a warm grin. I sat up still grinning, "Of course you can Anna!" I laugh. I see the look of relief wash over her pale, pretty face. I make room for her in my bed sensing her uneasiness of the situation. She slowly climbs in next to me giving me a thankful smile.
She isn't wearing her usual black dress. She's wearing shorts which are made of a light blue silk with a matching vest.
The moment she climbs in next to me I feel she's cold. Without thinking or any hesitation I wrap my arms around her waist pulling her into a tight embrace. I wait patiently looking into her eyes, waiting for her to scream and slap me.
But she didn't. She draped her arms around my neck not braking eye contact. I feel the urge to kiss her. But I can't! I'd feel like I was taking advantage of her. But I didn't have to kiss her. Anna leant forward and kissed me softly.
There was a tingling sensation as our lips touched. I felt so happy. So pleased that it had finally happened. Anna and I had kissed. I could feel myself blushing. I closed my eyes not caring. I promised myself, whatever happened next it wouldn't matter. I knew Anna felt the same way I did.
As we broke the kiss I opened my eyes to see a small smile on Anna's face. It was a true one. Not one that she did when she was being cold or hurtful. Anna's true smile.
Another flash of lightning went pas followed by a loud boom of thunder. As sad as it sounds I wished for something like that to happen. Anna jumped and came very close as she hugged me tightly.
I smiled as I hugged her back. I felt so sorry for her. She was terrified of it. She still is. And that is why she comes when it is stormy.
