After a long battle in which that useless faith member lost his only Gundam, Shinn decided to take a stroll along the shores of Panama.
There, he saw a familiar young boy. He seemed to recall meeting him before, but he could not remember where. The young boy's hair blew in the wind and he seemed to be arrogantly lost in thought, as he stared into the horizon.
Shinn couldn't take it anymore, and decided to call out to this boy, "Have I met you somewhere before?" The boy didn't seem to hear him, and continued to brood in his own thoughts. Shinn yelled again, a little bit agitated, "Hey! Have I seen you before? And why are you staring at the sun? Doesn't it hurt?"
The boy then suddenly turned to him, his eyes were blood shot red, and tears were streaking down his face. "I killed your parents," the boy said. "WHAT?" Shinn replied, a little startled. "I killed your parents, I killed Mayu too, and now I'm going to steal your cell phone," and suddenly, the boy snatched the precious pink cell phone away from Shinn's hand and tossed it into the sea.
"What's your name?" Shinn shrieked uncontrollable. "My name is Kira, the ultimate coordinator" the boy replied. "Well, Kira. Meet your Kira." "I don't get it," replied Kira, "I thought I was Kira", "I was using a pun" replied Shinn. "I still don't get it", replied Kira again.
"It doesn't matter, I'm going to kill you… KIRA you" Shinn snapped."I don't like puns" replied Kira. "Now you're just wasting time, I know you got that one" replied Shinn "Yeah, I did. It was actually kind of clever." Replied Kira. "Really? I'm happy that you think that." Replied Shinn. "Yeah" replied Kira. "Yeah" Shinn echoed. "Yeah…" Kira replied again.
After a few moments of silence, Kira turned his head away from Shinn and began to stare into the horizon. Tears began to stream down his face once again, and he began to mutter, "I am the ultimate coordinator"
Then suddenly, Kira felt a slight pain in his chest. "What's that?" Kira thought to himself. The pain then went away, and Kira thought nothing of it. Little did he know that a tumour was developing in his lungs, and he would die a few years later.
