Blue is the color of the calm water,
And the shirt on a daughter.
Ink written on paper can be blue,
Especially if they're thoughts about you.
Blue can describe when you're down,
But hopefully they don't stay around.
Blue can be the color of a child's eye,
Looking with awe at the midnight sky.
In a field, blue flowers are found,
Completely covering the soft ground.
The blue paint of a fast car,
Is the same as jellybeans in a jar.
Covering a bush filled with blueberries,
Is the dust of mystical fairies.
The dark blue clouds and falling rain,
Help your worries go down the drain.
