Indulgence
There are times when I observe you, From a dark corner of my little shadow

And I can't help but feel sorry for you.

Sorry you've never had your place here,

A place that has taught you only new fears.

Sorry that you live in such a trivial world.

Sorry that you haven't created a world like my own.

A place where I can release all my desire of revenge,

Where I can unleash folly and fire,

Where I live a continuation lacking in resent

And no one can prevent my irate ire.

And then you remind me of this world,

On which I am anchored against my strong will,

You remind me of your bright and lively self,

Of my negativity and seclusion.

Sometimes I contemplate my life and yours

And all we've went through together, you and I.

And though I still despise you for what you are,

I can't help but smile when I see you rise.
