Sirius Black hadn't meant to fall behind the veil. His cousin had done this to him. It had taken him thirteen years to get out of there. Now he had also become much like a dementor himself, though he wasn't sure if it was Azkaban or the world he'd been in which had done it to him. He didn't drain the happiness from people much, but people would feel unhappier and worried when he was past, but if anyone was overly happy he could drain some of the happiness from them. Most people within his presence merely became frozen with his hatred and felt unhappy for a short time after he'd gone.

He walked the muggle streets not caring as people froze solid. Homeless people already filled with unhappiness and hate merely stared at the strange man with the power to freeze people within an inch of they're life. They followed him with their eyes and once he was out of site they could see the crowds slowly begin to move not remembering the strange dark man who'd chilled them to their very bones without them even knowing. It was a strange site to see but then again they always saw strange things on the streets and knew there was something secret to the world.

"SIRIUS!" Siris halted but didn't turn to see who the voice belonged to. He didn't recognise it. It'd been a long time since he'd even heard anybodies voice. He turned slowly. When he looked into the emerald eyes he knew who it was instantly. Harry who was only twenty eight looked about fifty he was pale and thin but his eyes were still bright. Sirius doubted Harry's eyes would ever fully darken even though now he was unhappy, depressed even, Sirius knew this. Harry hadn't frozen like the others had.

Harry shifted his weight awkwardly. He wasn't sure if he could hug or touch his godfather. He didn't even know if his godfather recognised him. Harry leaned into the touch closing his eyes when Sirius's hand cupped his face. His lips formed a small smile. Until he touch was pulled away and he felt the cold sting of a slap. Harry eyes widened with shock.

"You could have gotten me out, but you left me. Left me in there… I'll tell you Harry that place was worse then hell itself and You. Left. Me. In there." He sneered. An almost red like tinge came into Sirius's eyes but when he saw Harry had backed up and curled in a corner he calmed down.

"I'm sorry Sirius… but they took me… they took me and put me in Azkaban. I wanted to help, wanted to find you, they told me you were gone but I didn't believe them. I used an unforgivable on Belltrix Lastang and … they took me to Azkaban for it for eleven years… by the time I was free the veil was closed. They'd bricked it up and when I tried to knock it down… they … they beat me and now I have to be escorted everywhere… This is normally as close as I get before one of them finds me… I go looking for you. I'm so sorry." Harry was sobbing and Sirius watched him with a calculating look.

"You love me." It wasn't a question. Harry nodded. "More than a godfather." Harry nodded again.

"Always have."

I'm leaving it like that, I'm not sure why I just like it as an open ending… though I may, that's not a positive I MAY write a sequel for this. Hope you enjoyed it. REVIEW PLEASE :D I still like my short and sweet one shots so no complaining it was short cause that's just the way I write them :P
