She Chose Me

A/N: This is in the same league as "I Love The Way…". Enjoy!

She could have had a tall, dark, and handsome guy. You know, like one of those Prince Charming types who come riding up on a gleaming white horse to save the princess from an evil mastermind. She could have had one of those. But no.

She chose me.

She could have had a filthy rich guy, like that Muggle, Donald Trump, that Dad's always raving about. Like one of those guys who could buy the country of Burkina Faso if he wanted to. Then she could have had fancy jewlery, a huge house, and what not. But no.

She chose me.

She could have had a nice, considerate, polite guy. You know, they're the type of guy who never makes a mistake in a relationship, and they're always on top of things, and they never forget anneverseries and stuff like that. She could have had one of those. But no.

She chose me.

She could have had an intelligent, intelluctual guy, like those guys who go on the Muggle show, "Jeopardy", that Dad's crazy about. One of those people who always know what to say! She could have had one of those. But no.

She chose me.

She could have had a clever and cunning guy, like one of those "James Bond" people she's always raving about. You know, like a guy who can knock out two Ninjas with a single punch. She could have had one of those. But no.

She chose me.

"Ron?"

I shake my head and I look down, and I realize that I'm holding Hermione in my arms as we dance across the Great Hall. She looks beautiful, like she always does, in dressrobes of silver and gold.

"Yes?" I manage to stutter out.

"I'm having a great time."

And she flashes my a wonderful smile, and I can't help but grin back.

Then suddenly it hits me.

She could have had anyone she wanted.

She could have had bloody Viktor Krum!

But no.

She chose me.

Well? Did you like it? Want me to do others? Then review!

Love,
