Chi's Feelings
Chi looked out the window waiting anxiously for Hideki to return home from his cram school. She looked over her shoulder and picked up volume six of the book, A City With No People, for being a picture book it was pretty deep. Chi picked it up and began to read it while she still waited.
Meanwhile
Damn it when is class going to be over? Hideki asked himself in his mind as he stared at the clock, Shimbo looked at him, "Hey man, you ok?" he asked.
Hideki looked at him and nodded, it had been over five years since he had found Chi today, and almost five years since Takako and Shimbo had been married, lucky bastard. Hideki thought again when he remembered how Shimbo and Takako had eloped and didn't tell him about it.
"Ok class that's all for today, you can go home." Said Mrs. Shimbo as she picked up her things the class soon did the same, but Hideki was in a hurry, he didn't have work today and he wanted to spend the rest of the day he had with Chi. It was weird that he wanted to see Chi so much?
Back with Chi
Chi feels sad; Chi cannot smile when Hideki's not around. She said holding herself in a tight self-embrace, but soon broke from it as she heard the sound of a key turning in the lock of the door to the apartment, the doorknob turned and there was Hideki standing there in the doorway removing his shoes,
"Hideki!" she squealed as she ran and tackled slash hugged him, "Hey Chi." He said ruffling her hair, "Welcome home." She said looking at him with bright eyes like she always did. Chi did something that Hideki was surprised but Chi kissed Hideki on the cheek.
"Chi, why did you do that?"
"Because Ms. Hibiya said that when you love someone you kiss them." Said Chi, he smile soon turned from happy to concerned, "Do you not love me Hideki?" she asked
"No, Chi, it's not like that it's just I didn't expect it that's all, but yes I love you too." He replied kissing Chi on the cheek as well. But afterwards Chi looked back at Hideki and kissed him firm on the lips. At first Hideki thought that her lips would be a little cold but they were warm and soon Hideki pressed back. It was a blissfully happy moment between the two new lovers, hard to believe that Chi used to be a persacom.
