Charlie: Okay...it's like...what? 92 degrees out here in Southern California? (At least where I live) Unfortunately for me...our air conditioner chooses NOW to break down. Of all the lousy timing...so obviously I'm living in a steamer right now. Funny though, as a little break to Fourteen Days, I've created a poem. One side of the pairings is obvious, the other side...well you can fill in whomever you like.
Healing Flames
I did not see him coming,
He attacked me where I could not see.
But then I saw you running,
Rushing here to protect me.
And I saw your hands moving,
Creating fire from thin air.
And I felt the heat rising,
From my face and to my hair.
And I watched as you battled,
Burning all who stood before you.
Back and fourth you shuttled,
Dropping enemies two by two.
And as I watched you fight,
I cannot express how I feel,
How you have become my light,
How your flames have let me heal.
Charlie: Okay... learning from past mistakes here, whoever who CAN'T guess who the person in this poem talks about will receive my undying pity and cookies. Just as a hint, the injured person is a girl and the rescuer is a guy. The girl is really up to you who you want to put in...but if you guys read Fourteen Days, you'll probably know whom I pictured there.
