A/N: New story, got inspired from my opinion about the finale. Many people seem to think that Ryan will be all sympathetic for Marissa, and he would have no trouble accepting what she did. Doesn't anyone realize what this is going to do to their relationship? She killed his brother, that leaves a huge scar between the two of them. He can't just not care, even though his brother pretty much screwed up his life.
Disclaimer: I own none of these characters or the plot of the show. I do, however, own the plot to this fic.
For Love
"I'm sorry," she screams, her voice hoarse.
He says nothing. A single duffel bag lays open on the crisp, clean bedsheets as he gathers his belongings to take with him.
She waits for him to say something, but he remains silent.
"Don't go!" Tears cascading down her flawless skin, she pulls him to her. His icy blue eyes meet her soft cerulean ones, tainted with tears. "I did it because I love you, I didn't mean to kill him, it was all for you," she whispers, her cherry red lips quivering.
He turns away, then, after checking to assure himself he hasn't forgotten anything, zips the bag shut and throws it over his shoulder.
Leaning towards her, he captures her lips one last time. The kiss lingers for a moment, then he comes back to reality.
"I know," he replies.
And then he was gone.
