In the small time that was given to the Pilots to rest, Rioroute Vilgyna went to find Phil, his repairer. He was in love with Phil for a long time, but Rio never had the courage to say, "I love you". When Rio saw how depressed Gareas was after losing Ernest, he finally had the courage to say those three words to Phil.
Rio looked around for the young girl in the Ingrids' room. He finally spotted her crouched beside Rio's Ingrid, crying. He went over to her, and patted her shoulder.
"What are you doing here Phil? Why are you crying?" Rio's heart was broken to see his loved one crying.
"Rio!" and Phil cried inside Rio's shoulders. Rio was shocked to see her doing this. She rarely cries in front of him, even more to see her hugging him.
"Are you okay?" It was obvious; no, she wasn't. "What is troubling you?" More crying. "Phil! Stop crying! It breaks my heart to see you cry."
Phil looked up. "Why are you always so reckless?" She shouted at Rioroute, meanwhile hitting him, although it doesn't hurt; everyone could hear her shouting even when they're ten meters apart. "Every time you come back injured, my heartbreaks. Today you were so close to dying. If you died, how am I supposed to live? I cannot live without you! Rio!" and she cried some more. Rio was happy that Phil cared for him, but it hurts to see her in so much pain.
"Phil. I have to tell you. If I died, but did not tell you, I would regret not telling. I love you, Phil" and Rio hugged her closer to him.
"Rio!" cried some more. "I love you too!" and she started to giggle, even though she was still crying.
Rio didn't know what to do; he hugged her closer and said, "Don't worry Phil. I won't go and get myself killed. No matter what, you will always be in my heart."
Phil blushed. "You will always be in my heart no matter what. I love you Rioroute!" and laughed.
"If you're going to be like that, please, don't do it in the public." Gareas walked up to them, followed by Ernest. Phil and Rioroute blushed. "I guess I will have to leave you guys alone, do I?" Phil nodded.
"Hmm…I think I should stay here." Gareas earned a death glare from Rio.
"Alright, alright! I was just kidding…no point taking it so seriously. Come on Ern., let's go. No point interrupting those couples." And they left.
Rio looked at Phil. Rio pulled Phil closer to him and kissed her lips. They remaned like that for several minutes, and only let go to get a deep breath, and then kiss again.
When they let go of each other, Phil said, "Thank you, Rio."
