A Short Story
A young itako walked down the street with rage filled her up. She marched toward an inn in front of her. Her eyes were fully filled with rage, her face was red, and she kicked every stone that she found on her way.
"ASAKURA YOH!" She cried as soon as she reached the inn.
A young brunette awakened up suddenly by the call. He ran toward the door, greeting his lovely, grumpy fiancée happily.
"Welcome home, Anna-chan!" He said, happiness reached his eyes when he saw her.
"I…am…not…Anna-chan…" Anna said, trying hard to keep down her emotion.
"Okay then, Anna!" Yoh said innocently, he still did not understand why she was moody that day.
"Shut up!" Anna raised her voice in rage.
Yoh shut his mouth immediately as the she ordered him to. He gave her a small smile.
"What's wrong, Anna?" He asked curiously.
Anna stood up in silence. She took a deep breath and released it.
"You are treacherous, Asakura!" She continued and slapped him hard.
Yoh was shock with her action. He grabbed her hand and hugged her tightly.
"What's wrong, Anna? Tell me…" He pleaded to her.
Anna struggled a little for awhile, but stayed with no movement after Yoh tightened the hug. She just gave him a dead stare and just stayed in quiet.
"You almost killed your self again…" She said with no expression in tone.
"What?"
"I know that a car crushed you on the street today…" Anna stopped before she continued harshly.
"You were almost killed, baka!" She cried to him.
Yoh smiled to her happily.
"Aaah….Anna…"
"Aaah…Anna…? Is that the only thing that you can say after you worried me all day?" Anna said impatiently.
"You care about me…." Yoh said, and then laughed like a little kid.
Anna suddenly realized what he just said. She quickly hid the blush in her face.
"No I don't, who cares anyway? If you want to die, go die!" She said to him.
Yoh smiled to her sweetly, he kissed her forehead and hugged her tighter.
"Thank you, Anna…" He whispered softly to her ear.
That was it. It was the only thing that happened that evening before their friends found them sleeping in each other's arms in Yoh's room.
