Audrey stood in front of the casket. She looked at his pale face. She couldn't control her emotions anymore. The tears she was desperately trying to hold back fell down her fragile face. She told him things couldn't work, but that wasn't true. She was going to tell him that she loved him and wanted to be with him, but then they told her he was dead. It was too late.

Audrey was shaken out of her thoughts when her phone rang. She walked over to a tree where no one was around. She looked at the number. She didn't recognize it. She took a deep breath and answered her phone.

"Hello," Audrey said her voice shaky. It was clear that she was crying.

"Audrey, its Jack. Don't tell anyone you heard from me. No one's supposed to know I'm alive," Jack said. He could tell by the way her voice sounded that she had been crying. He never wanted to hurt her. He loved her more than anything.

"Jack, I'm so glad you're alive. I was going to tell you that I wanted to be with you, but then they told me that you were dead. I miss you so much," Audrey replied. She felt more tears roll down her cheek. Thank God Jack was okay.

"I love you to Audrey. I called because I need to know how you feel about me. I'm still in L.A. But not for long. I wanted to know if you'll come with me. I know it's a lot to ask after everything that's happened. But I don't know how long I can last with out you," Jack admitted. He hoped that she'd come with him. He wasn't supposed to be in L.A. But he had to know if she would come with him. He was nothing without her.

"Yes, Jack. I'll come with you. I just experienced what it'd be like without you. I can't be without you," Audrey responded. She couldn't wait to be safe and warm in his arms again. And feel his lips on hers hearing him say he loved her. She loved him so much. She was stupid to think that she could've ever given that up.

"Meet me in front of the funeral. I'm in a blue car. The lights are on. Make sure nobody sees you," Jack said happily. He was so scared that he'd lose her. But he didn't. He was thankful for that.

Audrey put her phone away. She looked around to make sure no one was watching. When she was sure no one was looking she ran to the car and got in. She saw Jack. She threw her arms around him and started to cry. Jack looked into her eyes and slowly leaned over to kiss her on the lips. She moaned softly and ran her hands through his hair. This is what she wanted. This is what she'd always want.

"I love you," Jack said smiling.

""I love you to," Audrey replied and leaned back into Jack's arms. She knew that this would never end.
