I lay here and watch you sleep. And all my troubles go away.
The morning light dance across the walls in the bedroom. And everything is alright. I can here you breathe and feel your chest rise and fall under my hand. And nothing is more important in the world.
You are my hero and my rock in the storm. As my world falls apart under my feet you are there to catch me. I can here the wind play with the trees outside on the street. And a single tear makes it way from my eye. I remove it with the palm of my hand. I touch your face gently and I am amazed by your profile. My fingers makes there way over your lips and down to your chin.
You have changed your breathing and I know that you are going to be awake any minute now. I here you mumble something I can't here. You open your eyes and you look at me with a smile. And in that moment I realise that I don't ever want to be apart from you, ever again. I support my self on my elbow and I lower down to kiss you on the lips. You kiss me back. You give me a warm hug and kiss me on my forehead whisper in my ear: I love you, Dana. I always had. You kiss me gently on my lips. Nothing can stop our love. And as the world spin along outside the bedroom window we lay here and nothing can change that.
