One year later:

"I cannot find a way to describe it"
Riley Carlson looked around in the empty room she once shared with her sister.
"It's there inside; all I do is hide"
She could sense her presence everywhere.
"I wish that it would just go away"
Shortly after Chloe's death, she had started to punish herself.
"What would you do, you do, if you knew"
She knew Chloe's actions were all her fault.
"What would you do"
And that it was too late for an apology.

"All the pain I thought I knew"
That night, she cried herself to sleep, like so many times before.
"All the thoughts lead back to you"
Seeing herself in a mirror made her think of her sister. She couldn't resist it anymore.
"Back to what was never said"
"I'm sorry, Chlo…" she whispered, still crying.
"Back and forth inside my head"
"I wanted to be your Riles again so badly…"
"I can't handle this confusion"
"I think… I just stold your life. I'm sorry, sis…"
"I'm unable; come and take me away"
Her parents watched her, silent. They knew they couldn't help her if she didn't reach out.

"I feel like I am all alone"
Riley sat by herself, as usual, on her Study Hall. She wasn't expecting anyone to come sit near her, not after Chloe's death.
"All by myself I need to get around this"
"Hey, Riley," Larry's voice said. She looked up with a lost stare and ignored him.
"My words are cold, I don't want them to hurt you"
"What do you want? I'm not in the mood for you right now," she snapped.
"If I show you, I don't think you'd understand"
"Gee, I'm sorry. I just thought you might need a friend…" he replied, before walking away sadly. Riley placed her hands over her chest and cried.
"Cause no one understands"
She couldn't allow anyone to help her.

"All the pain I thought I knew"
Tracing her fingers around the marks in her arms, Riley shivered.
"All the thoughts lead back to you"
She knew Chloe had done it, and it had killed her too.
"Back to what was never said"
"How come everything reminds me of you?" she cried.
"Back and forth inside my head"
"Leave me alone!" she yelled to no one, throwing her pillow to the floor.
"I can't handle this confusion"
Downstairs, her parents exchanged glances.
"I'm unable; come and take me away"
"He has to reach out," Jake remembered his wife. Macy nodded and wiped a few tears.

"I'm going nowhere (on and on and)"
Riley sobbed and fell to the floor.
"I'm getting nowhere (on and on and on)"
"I can't take this anymore, Chlo…" she whispered.
"Take me away"
"Won't I ever be happy again?" she asked herself.
"I'm going nowhere (on and off and off and on)"
She walked right by her bed and looked at Chloe's.
"(and off and on)"
She threw herself there, and sobbed.

"All the pain I thought I knew"
Recomposing a little, Riley got up.
"All the thoughts lead back to you"
Her mind came to only one conclusion.
"Back to what was never said"
She grabbed a bunch of her clothes, their last photo together and Chloe's pillow.
"Back and forth inside my head"
Trying not to fall or make any noise, she opened her window.
"I can't handle this confusion"
She threw her bag down and followed it quickly.
"I'm unable; come and take me away"
She walked across the street, trying not to be seen.

"Take me away"
Riley knocked on the door.
"Break me away"
He opened it and stared at her, she was looking down.
"Take me away"
"I need your help…" she whispered.
