"Petty! Petty! Look what I found!" Lily's stunning green eyes were alight with excitement as she held out the brown garden snake. "Look, Petty! It's making a funny sound and it feels sticky!"

Petunia Evans turned her blond head around and looked at her younger sister with disgust. "Ugh! I'd rather go play with my dolly than that gross snake. Take it away from me, Lil," the seven-year-old spat before she went into the house, rolling her eyes and thinking about how stupid five-year-olds were. Lily didn't even act like a normal girl! How dumb!

Petunia brushed and brushed her hair; however, the knots didn't seem to want to come out. No matter how hard she tried, by brushing her hair, she just seemed to mess it up more. Today was an important day! She was going to go to the big kids school, and she wanted to look pretty like her favorite dolly. When you go to first grade, you really grow up, unlike her sister, Lily, who was still going to be in pre-school, taking naps and eating cookies.

Petunia heard the distinct sound of giggling from out in the hallway, but didn't see her sister anywhere. "Lily, I'm going to tell Mom! Go to your room and get ready for school!"

"But I'm ready, Petty. Mommy said you would put my hair up for me so I won't be playing with it all day. Come on, Petty. I wanna go to school." Lily jumped from foot to foot impatiently waiting for her big sister to fix her hair.

"Oh, alright. Come here. And sit still!" Petunia ordered the small girl as she gave up on her own hair.

Petunia sobbed hysterically in her pillow. She hated being at the same school as Lily, and would always refuse to admit Lily was her sister when asked. Today was the last straw! Petunia was outside playing with her friends when she saw her sister playing around with the bucket in the sandbox, and the bucket looked like it was floating! All the other kids screamed and ran away from Lily as she was playing with the bucket that just hovered in midair. As if that wasn't bad enough, Lily looked up and saw her sister, then began to yell, "Petty, come here! Play with me! Petty!"

After Petunia got her sister home, she screamed at Lily to never talk to her again. She was tired of being the freak's sister. It just wasn't normal.
