Angel's Love
I hide under my angels wings
Unsure of what to say
To you, my darling, my heart still sings
Of the coming day
I try not to talk about it
That truth, there is no doubt
But would you really understand
And know what I'm about
I walk to you in silent fear
Awaiting for you to speak
I wish you would say what I want to hear
And that it is you that I will keep
Tears run down my reddened face
When you do not answer me
I look around with unsure grace
Not knowing where I should be
I feel your hand on my own
And you make me look at you
My heart no longer feels like stone
When I see your face is true
Your eyes shine as you gaze at me
Though I am not sure why
I thought it wasn't meant to be
And that I would forever cry
You bring me close to your embrace
And you hold me without slack
Our love was then not left to trace
As you gave me your heart back
And so our story did not end there
For there was surely more to come
Though we will always be forever near
As our hearts become one.
