Chapter 1-What hurt means to me

Dear Diary,
Hurt. That sad and lonely word. People hurt other people to get attention, maybe something else. I was really hurt knowing that I killed Johnny and Dally. My brothers say that I'm not the cause of there deaths, but I know I am. I cant stop rereading "Gone with the wind", that place that me and Johnny left off at, where his note was. I even tried killing myself to stop the pain but I now know that I'm only causing my brothers and the gang more pain. My nightmares kind of stopped for a little while then started up every night. My therapist suggested writing in my diary when I felt the need to do something stupid.
