I looked into your eyes
And only saw rejection,
Pain, and anger at the world.
I know you love me,
Yet you're still in love with her.
You're mad at Fate,
For ever messing with
Your life, your heart, and soul.
You tolerate Destiny,
Because she's the one who
Led me to your door.
You're in constant pain,
In a battle with your heart.
With those beautiful emotions,
That have often protected me.
But that have also hurt me more
Than any mortal wound
That my feeble body bears.
In the end, I know that
The decision is up to you.
And I hope that you will follow your heart,
And that it will lead you back to me.
