I don not own Yu-Gi-Oh! Kazuki Takahashi-sensei does and several other companies.
This is an One shot, taking place in Battle City. The guy who describes the situation is "someone" we never knew. He has no name, so don't ask. EDIT: This fic is redone, grammatical and spelling mistakes were removed.

One out of hundred

DOMINO CITY -- During the
Battle City tournament, an
amount of 16 corpses have
been found in coma. The
police is still investigating
the cause...

Run.

The woman panicked as I grabbed her shoulder. Her purse striked my cheek in the twinkling of an eye. Gone was hope. I must have looked awful, scaring the hell out of my surroundings. I shrieked, and she did as well. Through the screams I could not hear anything but commands and see images of eyes. The woman pointed her finger in my direction, revealing the guilt. It hurted, the selfishness of people.

Run.

There is no hope.

This way.

I'll pay back. Using you is all I want.

No, I refuse to, let me go! Let me wander again. The black robes in front of me, he held a rod. Gold. The Eye. Stop it already!

"Heh."

A teen aged sixteen. His voice which sounded dark, smooth.. and clever.

"Another one, down on his knees."

And I did so. Why? But I fell, he chuckled. The teen flung a card, I shivered. A beast.. The tension broke my nerves. Rare.. I must feel.. its glory.

Tap.

"It's fake"

A woman in a white robe appeared in front of me. She stepped on the card, making clear it was dangerous. By touching it I would have declared that teen's loyalty. I paralyzed, but remained conscious enough to listen carefully what they had to say. The street just as quiet as ever.

"You.."

The young man seemed angered.

"I hope you have not forgotten the story about Ba, the eternal spirit. But I see your Ka being created, is..."

"You possibly think that I.."

"Your hatred feeds the dark mind." She had cut off. "Your Ka has changed strongly in the past years, very strong. I have seen it in the past and the future. Your destiny has been settled down according to this."

"Do what you please, your trail of stupid thoughts is not any of my business."

"At least let this man go."

I fainted afterwards, only knowing the kindness and pain. Ninety nine of the hundred people wouldn't care about me. But she was one out of hundred.
