A/N: So how about I've gotten something done. That's right. I've gotten a whole introduction/summary of a fic finished. Don't laugh. This is a big accomplishment for me. So nyah!

Right now this is just a teaser for an introductory fic about Severus' fathers (in my fic, Sev's the HBP), Tom Riddle, and the werewolfs that Phased Remus. Think of it as the back/flap of a book. Whatdya think? This will be updated soon.

Before Orders and Spies, Rebels and Moony; before the Dark Lord and the Boy-Who-Lived and Half-Blood Princes. There was a lonely boy and his hard-won friends who were just trying to keep a hold on their world. This is but one of their stories…

Enyalius and Romulus (of the Lupin line) were the werewolf cubs Hagrid had been trying to raise under his bed. When Tom got him kicked out, the cubs were supposed to be killed, but he helped them escape into the Dark Forest. There they are found by a pride of Manx (faerie cats related to the shapeshifting wolves Vyn that first created werewolves from mutinous members of their ranks, some hundreds of years ago). Sargon Samir Pantaeleon, their young king feels pity towards those under his cousin-race's curse and takes a liking to the cubs (who are about 6 years old). He keeps them safe in the forest for about a year and a half, but in that time they get very sick and he has no way to help them.

The Pride, due to various and sundry reasons, wants to move away from Hogwarts and further into the old forests, but finds that they are surrounded by Humans who, because of the situation with the Dark Wizard Grindelwald (Hitler to us Muggles), are also worn down by war and prejudice, and will not take lightly something so strange as hundreds of halfling, humanoid cats suddenly appearing.
With his tribe temporarily trapped, and unable to leave the cubs he's grown so attached to, Sargon asks his tribe to wait until the next New Moon (27th Dec) before migrating, so that he can try to find a way to treat the human sickness of the cubs and find a place for his people. He must set his sights on the one place that may have the answer; The very place which abandoned them to begin with: Hogwarts.
There he finds help from the most surprising to us readers of sources: Seventh years Tom Riddle and his fellows; the triplets Snape, the heir of that Most Noble and Ancient House, and the young medic Poppy.
And, perhaps, our young king will find more within the castle where none of his kind have ever ventured...Love, life, and place to call home.

A/N: God that sounds cheesy.
