Part 2 to When the Lights Are In Your Eyes

This is a poem that correlates to my story.

I saw you soaring above

The skyscrapers,

Putting a long scratch in the blue

That matched your eyes to a T

I don't have to look up anymore

All I have to do

Is look into your eyes

And I can fly

And Broadway shines there, the lights

Are dancing in your pupils

Bouncing freely, making me dizzy

I'm getting drunk on their beauty

Please just kiss me one more time

Make me forget the events of the day

When the lights are in your eyes

I am at home

I am safe

Full of their warmth

And your love
