Title: Pretty.

Disclaimer: I don't own Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. But I do own Fai and Kurogane dollies who spend their days on my shelf, hugging.

Rating: K.

Warning: This has a number of references to BoyxBoy relationships. Don't like it. Don't read it.

Summary: Ficlet, Kuro/Fai. Kurogane things about the word 'pretty.'

Fai was pretty.

Kurogane had never really been into pretty things before. Pretty, to him, generally meant pink or frilly. Something along the lines of 'girly.' Which he didn't really like. No, pretty was the term he associated with Princess Tomoyo's crazy costumes that she made Souma model for her. Pretty was the term he used for the cute little bits and pieces Sakura picked up along their travels. Pretty was the stupid things Mokona spewed up from Yuuko. He had never liked pretty and he had sworn to himself, a long time ago, that he would never ever like pretty. But, back then, he had never realised that pretty could be used to describe a fully grown man.

Fai . . . was pretty.

He was loathe to admit it. But Fai was pretty, with his flyaway blonde hair, his sparkling crystal blue eyes and his radiant smile. Fai was pretty no matter what. Even when he was covered from top to toe in blood and filth he was pretty. Because he would just smile though the layer of grime covering his body and he would look like an angel.

And angels were known for being pretty.

And Fai was an angel for more than one reason. Everything about Fai was pretty, on the outside and on the inside. Because inside, Fai was an extremely caring, if somewhat hurt, person. Kurogane was determined to remove that hurt. Because his Fai deserved to be happy.

All pretty things deserved to be happy.

And Fai was the prettiest of them all.

Fin.

Please don't ask. It hit me so I wrote it. Kuro/Fai all the way!
