"This is the last you'll see of Ashtoreth Kurokawa," She whispered to the night, and walked onward. She stared down at the cracked sidewalk in this dead city. Because that's pretty much what it was. Just people crawling about there pointless lives, like moths drawn to a florescent lamp. She didn't understand how people could live like this; which was why she'd decided to flee from the place that was her prison for the first 15 years of her life. She didn't know where she was headed... she just knew that anywhere would be better.
Anywhere...
Kuro stopped. Something was moving nearby. She noticed a bright emerald light coming from a forest nearby. She walked as quitely as possible, and saw what looked like a human form, standing in front of a glowing green orb. "It looks like a tunnel" Kuro thought. The shadowy figure dissappeard suddenly. The shimmering tunnel remained. Kuro realized this was her chance. She was smart enough to think about it first, realizing that if it was dangerous, that other guy (whoever he was) wouldn't have entered. She felt strangely drawn to this... the tunnel-like object and the very aura of its user. The tunnel started to grow smaller. Kuro ran as fast as she could towards it, her glossy hair streaming behind her, almost emerald itself with the light of this thing. She reached the tunnel just before it got too small for her body, and dove through.
She never looked back.
Suddenly, she was half falling half flying through this strange gateway. Lights and sounds swirled around her, but she couldn't tell what any of them were. She heard a few voices she remembered all too well, and shut her bright sapphire eyes against them. Once they stopped, she looked around. Light the color of blood was swirling all around her, as were what looked like shadows. They continued swirling across her form, and she realized they were searching for something. "What do you want?" She tried to say, but no sound would come out. Eventualy the red and black lights formed into 2 hands, and grasped her beloved barbed chain necklace. They swirled together and formed a sort of gemstone, now fixed around her slim neck. She had a vision of the figure standing by the portal a moment ago...
Then Kuro blacked out.
A pulsing black aura. it is a representation of the manifester's inner self.
