Hellow! I made this up when I heard PMMP's song...
well I think u don't know it because it's Finnish. Anyway this is a
bit sad story about Sango... and her daughter. PLZ R&R!
Only in dreams
A small girl looked out of the window of a hut. She had long, black hair, tied on two ponytails.
"Look mommy, an monk!" Said the girl and pointed towards the path, which leaded into the village where the girl lived with her mother.
"Your father was a monk too." Said the girl's mother.
"Was he?" Asked the girl. "Tell me about him!"
So, the girl's mother started to tell a story. A sad story about war, tears and hopeless dreams, which never came true and lived only in memories.
"Seven years ago, I and the monk had been travelling without our friends. We had decided to stay in this village, when I realized that I was pregnant.
Your father helped the other villagers a lot, but then a tribe of strong demons attacked our village. Many of the villagers died or injured badly, and your father decided to fight against those demons. Some of the men agreed and left with him.
Before leaving he promised to come back to me before your born. I cried, I was sure that he wouldn't return to me anymore. Then he left with some of the men, and I waited.
I waited a week, and another week, but none of the men came back. We were all sure that they all had died and we prepared a ceremony to their memories. Then, in one sunrise, your father came back.
He was badly injured, he had wounds and bruises all around his body and he had to take backup from his monk staff. He was the only one who had survived from the battle.
I had been sitting in my hut, in front of the window, when I saw him coming. I ran to him, crying with happiness and shock because of his deadly injures. He fell onto the ground before I got to him and then I kneeled next to him.
"You came back after all." I said to him, holding him in my arms.
"All the others... they died... but I kept... my promise." He managed to say. "You okay?"
I nodded and tried to wipe away my tears. Then I said: "I have to take you inside and take care of your wounds..."
But he grimaced in pain and said: "It's futile... just live in happiness... with our child."
Then he looked at me the last time, smiled gently and said: "I love you Sango. Be happy."
"I love you too Miroku, do not leave me!" I cried, then I realized that his heart wasn't beating anymore. I cried. I cried the whole night, after my 'grandmother' had buried him.
And, few weeks after that, I gave birth you. You had your father's black hair and indigo eyes."
For a moment the girl looked at her mother and then asked: "Did he look like me a lot?"
"Yes, Mirana. He was just like you. And that's why I love you so much, you're our only child. I'm so sorry that you never met your father." Said the girl's mother.
"Do you miss him a lot?" Asked Mirana and went to her bed. Her mother tucked her in the bed and nodded, but the smiled.
"I miss him. But I know that he is always with me." She said.
"But how?" Asked Mirana, totally confused, and then gaped.
"Because, my dearest daughter... we meet every night." Answered her mother.
"Where? Is he alive?" Asked Mirana, eyes closed already.
"No, unfortunately he isn't... expect in my dreams." Whispered Mirana's mother when her daughter fell asleep.
"Yes... we can meet only in dreams now." Mumbled Mirana's mother and started to walk away from her daughter's bed.
"Only in dreams..."
