Mother's Day
Two boys embrace
One sobbing
Tears glisten in the other's eyes
Greiving for a mother
Lost to one
Never known by the other
The older strokes the younger's hair
Telling him stories of her
How she wore her hair
How she tucked him in bed
Things he'd almost forgotten
They look at the stone
So cold and lonely
Much like the one
So unlike the other
They walk away slowly
Past the other cold stones
Until next year
Is this how it is
On an orpan's Mother's Day?
