She was tired of InuYasha.
She knew she was naïve , but she knew a couple of things.

Shippo was her 1st Priority.
She was being tricked.
InuYasha is a Jerk!
Kikyo is InuYasha's "toy".
Her friends are her family. She was leaving with her friends.It was all worked out.
InuYasha would go to Kikyo, as usual.
Thinking they were asleep.
When he left they would go to the well.
And Kagome would put up a spell to keep demons out.

And that is exactly what they did.
