Charlie's Angels: the Movie femslash. Dylan and Alex. You can't tell me there isn't a slash undertone in that movie. My first 'Charlie's' fic. Let me know how I did!
Alex is an animal before Dylan. She is like a wolf with shiny black eyes and hungry lips, raw as a dead flower. Alex is kissing Dylan so hard and biting her lip that blood is welling forth. But Dylan doesn't care and only returns the gesture.
Dylan never wanted much. A successful fashion career, maybe - the kind you'd read about in Lucky and that would keep Joan Rivers clamoring for her wallet for days. Yes, that was all she wanted. But life always takes that wacky curve, and you don't always get what you want.
She believes in destiny, so when the letter came to her door, of course she clamored to Charlie's. Dylan feels life is full of circumstance so when opportunity comes knocking, she answers. Sometimes it'll lead her down a terrible path. Like the time there was a man with a finger poised on the trigger, but that happened more than once, indeed.
So she's surprised when the unexpected occurs. Dylan's kissed a girl before, but never a woman. Standing underneath the bleachers with her best friend in third grade practicing kissing boys doesn't really count. Dylan likes her two fellow Angels, they're like sisters.
Natalie is fun and flirtatious and delightful to be around, but it's Alex who captivates Dylan. Alex, who on the surface is cool and callous, is a tigress. Dylan loves it when she bears her claws.
She's only been on Alex's bad side once - when she stole Alex's ride - a sleek Ferrari with daisy emblems on the windows. Dylan imagined Natalie would be the one to steer such a frivolous machine, and pictures Alex behind the wheel in a Jaguar, racing down the freeway like a silver bullet. But Alex drives a car that is such an opposite to her personality, and Dylan finds it a bit charming.
Alex said she wasn't that angry but she shared her thoughts with four letter words. But that only invigorated Dylan all the same.
This Alex in front of her, drunk on tequila is unexpected. This Alex is animalistic and Dylan wonders if it's a side effect from having just broken it off with her boyfriend. But she returns Alex's kisses and guides the groping to more sensitive spots. Alex's hands are clumsy yet inviting. "It's like a fairy tale for adults," she comments.
Alex responds with a laugh, and looks at her riding hood with a wolf-like smile and eyes that are deepening pools waiting to swallow her.
