Brian Masters was coming home he drove his battered old Gustav to the family home deep in the wastelands. Brian was 19, had blue eyes, wore glasses, and was a little pudgy Brian's little brother Zack Masters was with him on this cargo trip. Zack was 10 has green eyes, and is thinner then Brian.
As there home came into view it was aflame and fire fighting zoids were their trying to put out the blaze. They later found out that a faulty missile from a battle nearby struck the house there were no survivors. The ZBC gave them a large sum because the missile was manufactured by one of their smaller weapons plants they also sold there land and moved on in the battered Gustav.
The Zi department of children services allowed Brian to keep Zack but Brian had to show signs of a stable home and see that both our needs are provided for.
Puma City-Two months later
The town of Puma city was a decent large city, upon driving up from the wastelands Brian noticed an old Empire base for sale it was just far enough for privacy but not to far away from the city.
The owner of the base was Fern Junes a mid 40s sassy grandmother she said she'd get back to us after doing a back round check. One day later she said the price was seven thousand credits "Obviously she looked at our files and realized that we were orphans" Brian thought. Normally Brian didn't like charity but in this case he'd buckle down and take it. Fern warned that she didn't know what was in that base she never went in just repaired the walls and roof.
Home sweet Home
Driving through the front gate/wall Brian and Zack found it looked like three small curved airport hangers joined together about the length of one football fields across and their was also a small command tower with domed roof. "Well let's get started" Brian said taping Zack, pushing open the middle hanger squinting through the dim light of the dust caked windows above "This must have been the zoid hanger" Zack said "Must be" Brian said choking on the stale air. They hit pay dirt Brian and Zack found four zoids two Pterases, one Shield Liger and one Molga granted they needed repairs but other then that they were their zoids now.
Checking the second hanger with the command tower attached they found it was mostly quarters, a mess hall, and a gym. The third hanger contained parts and some weapon pilled in a heap.
One week of cleaning later
Brian and Zack managed to get the zoid hanger and the quarter's hanger cleaned up and looking decent, there were about thirty rooms in the quarter's section. Zack managed to combine furniture and make fifteen rooms habitable. Brian was trying to get the ancient power generator running but that thing had it.
"Hello anyone home" a female voice said to Brian and Zack's surprise it was Fern, Brian and Zack gave her the fifty cent tour and even she was impressed at what they did with this place. "Oh the reason I stopped by is to tell you, Brian's got an interview at the Parts shop for a job" Fern said running her finger over a dusty surface "Thank you" was all Brian said.
