HC100 Challenge: #11 – Water
Death surrounds me in my line of work. I am the voice of the corpse, the messenger from beyond the grave, the one who can bring justice to those who have been wronged; but I'm also just me.
When I enter the lab I wear my smile like armour, my witty retorts and my fierce glares are my weapons against the outside world. Nobody understands, except him.
Horatio with eyes like a clear ocean that can see beneath this protection I wear. He can tell when I'm not waving, but drowning. How I love that when he knows that I need him he saves me.
