Quiet Rivalry

Disclaimer: These bitter bit players that are scheduled to appear are property of Disney. My job, of course, is to use them stealthily and without permission. Take that Eisner! You don't run Disney! Your not the boss of me. Not anymore anyway.
In a town named Middleton. In a High School with about 800 students, there were two students in two different classroom having the same thoughts as the other.
I don't like her.
I don't like her.
Who does she think she is anyway? Always around that hussy like a servant. Always stroking that girl's ego. Sitting in English class trying to look like some sort of princess. I'll tell you one thing, little girl. You ain't a princess, and you ain't pretty either.
Who does she think she is anyway? Whenever I walk the halls I see her and that girl, talking about my best friend like she's trash or something. Humph! If you want to see trash, girlfriend, I'd suggest you take a look in the mirror.
She thinks she's so cool because she hangs with the so-called "Cool Kids." So shallow. I bet she thinks she's better than I am. If she does, I think she needs to get that empty head of hers examined.
Without her friend, she'd totally be at the bottom of the food chain. What my friend tells me is absolutely right. I mean, look at her! Look at where she works! Ugh... Totally not cool.
He says that there is a lot more than air in that head of hers. I don't believe him for a second. I mean, Ron is a great guy and all, but I still think he's got it all wrong about her.
He says there is more to her than the latest fashions. That's kinda hard to believe. Sure, I like Ron a lot, but he's dead wrong about her.
Regardless of what he says, I still don't like her.
He can talk about all the good things about her if he wants. I still don't like her.
If I ever caught her without her entourage, I'd totally give her a piece of my mind.
If I ever catch her alone, I'm gonna talk some sense into her.
The bell marking the end of the period rung loudly as these two exited their respective classrooms. As fate would have it, these two bitter rivals were walking toward each other in the hallway. They then met each other half way. They gave each other a cold glance toward the other. Like two heavyweight boxers about to square off in the match of the century, they began to stare each other down. When this supposed standoff ended, the two students smiled brightly at each other.
"Hey, Tara!" The girl greeted cheerily.
"Hi, Monique!" Tara said, returning the greeting.
Both of them stood there for what felt like hours in the halls. In the awkward silence, they could've sworn they felt a cold wind blow and tumbleweed float on by. After a few more moments, the late bell rang signaling the beginning of the next period.
"Oops... Gonna be late for class. Bye, Mon." Tara said quickly as she took off toward her next class.
"Me too... Later, Tar." Monique replied with her back turned.
Both walked away from that spot in the opposite direction, knowing it won't be the last time they meet today.
'You are soooo lucky the bell rang. Next time, fashion disaster.'
'Luck was on your side when the bell rung. Next time, teen hero groupie.'
The End
A/N: Don't you just love rivalries. Especially the ones that you make up?
I need reviews like security guards need caffeine
