Post Twilight
And the
world stopped turning
The
sunlight was dimmed.
Total
silence.
Nothing
moved.
There was
nothing else.
No one
else
No sound.
No colour.
No life.
In a
single moment it had ended.
His world
had stopped with hers.
And he
didn't want it to start again.
He blinked
back tears.
No!
He felt
the cold wind
No!
He heard a
shout.
No!
It
couldn't be
It
shouldn't be
The tears
tracked.
He
shivered
The world
should stop.
Reality
should end right now.
Then he
wouldn't have to face the pain.
Pain that
cut.
Pain that
twisted
Pain that
consumed
Pain that
would take all of him and leave nothing.
He
couldn't face it.
Couldn't face life without her.
'Please,'
he begged in silent thought. 'Make the world stop.'
