Bonded to You

Disclaimer: I don't own Dragon Ball/Z/GT in anyway necessary

Takes place during GT, after the Bebi saga.

It was 7 a.m. The only 2 people that were present at the house were Goku and Chi-Chi. Goku was sitting at the breakfast table finishing up his breakfast., while Chi-Chi was cleaning the dishes in the sink.

"It's kinda quiet, you know…" Goku said, looking up from his plate. "Well, the kids have moved out. It's less noisy than it used to be", Chi-Chi replied. Her back was still turned to Goku. "Chi, what's wrong?" Goku asked with a concerned look on his face. Chi-Chi's frown got deeper as she dried her hands on a towel. "There's nothing wrong with me Goku. I'm fine", Chi-Chi said putting a fake smile on her face. Goku frowned. "Chi-Chi, I know you like the back of my hand. I can sense when something's wrong with you. Is it because I'm still a kid?" Goku asked, raising an eyebrow.

'He does know me to well…' Chi-Chi thought. "I'm sure you meant to do that right?" She replied moments later. "Chi-Chi, you know that's not true!" Goku said, with a hurt look on his face. Tears formed in Chi-Chi's eyes. "As if I wasn't already aging faster than you. Guess that phrase 'Till death do us part' doesn't mean anything huh!" Chi-chi said angrily, tears running down her face. "I'll be right back" Goku said getting up from the table. Chi-Chi turned around and wiped the tears from her face.

A few moments later, a hand tapped her on the shoulder. Chi-Chi turned around a got a surprise. "You don't mind me being in my Super Saiyan 4 form, do you? I-I know how you feel about me going Super Saiyan, so I thought about it…" Goku said nervously. "Oh Goku!" Chi-Chi said embracing him in a deep hug. She burrowed her face into his practically fur covered chest. "Lets take this somewhere else, okay?" Goku replied. He teleported them to a clearing. The was a lake nearby.

They both sat down. Goku put his arm around his wife's shoulder. "I'm sorry I said those things to you Goku, you didn't deserve that" Chi-Chi said looking up at him. It's okay Chi, don't worry about that" Goku replied. To him, she was still as beautiful as the day he first saw her. Although he was just a kid, and didn't know that much about girls then. They sat there in peace and silence for a while.

"I love you so much Son Goku" Chi-Chi said softly. "I love you to, Chi" Goku said, kissing her. Chi-Chi smiled.

She closed her eyes and snuggled up closer to Goku. "You should stay like this…" Chi-Chi replied. Goku laughed. "What's wrong with the way I am?" He said, trying to look innocent. "I love you exactly the way you are" she smiled. Goku laughed again. "I figured you would like it" he said. "Thanks for this Goku, we needed it" Chi-Chi said looking up at him. "Anytime" he replied.

Everything was so peaceful, and so calm and happy. Goku wished things could always stay like this. "I think it's time we headed back home" he replied moments later. "You're right". Chi-Chi grabbed a hold of Goku's hand as they teleported back to the house.

Well I guess it's time to cook dinner" Chi-Chi said heading to the stove. "Oh boy! Food!" Goku cheered. Chi-Chi laughed, "You never change do you?" "Nope!" Goku said with a big grin on his face. "Don't ever change a thing" Chi-Chi replied, still smiling. "Got ya" Goku gave her a thumbs up sign. If only things stayed like this between them. But, through thick and thin, they've always had a strong bond. And they would always be there for each other, when the time called for it.

Got a lil' sappy towards the ending huh? Well that's all for the story. Review, review!
