Kagome kissed Shippo goodnight and tucked him in the sleeping bag. She sighed and looked at her friends around her Sango was asleep curled up to Kirara.
Miroku was also asleep leaning his back on a tree.
Inuyasha was pretending to be asleep though she could see that he wasn't.
Kagome wasn't quite sure why he was pretending to be asleep but she really need to talk to him so she decided to 'Wake Him up'.
She went over to the tree he was in. "Inuyasha are you awake I just wanted to tell you I'm leaving to go take Kouga up on his offer to be his woman."
Inuyasha sat straight up after hearing this. "WHAT you can't leave your friends for that ugly wolf-turd! How could you Kagome What do you have to say for yourslf."
Kagome started busting out laughing.
Inuyasha of course couldn't see the humor in this "Wench! what is so funny?"
Kagome smiled "One you belived me that I wanted to be Kouga's mate Two Can't you tell I don't like Kouga like that only as friends Three you called me Kagome you finally learned my name good job."
'What a relief' Inuyasha thought only said "Feh." to Kagome though.
"Inuyasha I needed to ask you though." Kagome wasn't quite sure how to ask him
her birthday was coming up and she needed to visit her familiy for at least a couple days to get more stuff and her presents.
"Yesss what do you need?" Inuyasha was still looking down at her from his spot in the tree he jumped down and stared in to her eyes.
Kagome stared at the amber orbs "Inuyasha my birthday is next week and I need to go home for a couple days to get more stuff and I just ..."
Inuyasha looked at her "No your gonna be late getting back and we won't be able to collect jewel shards without you."
"Please Inuyasha please!" Kagome was turning sixteen you don't turn sixteen everyday and she didn't wanna collect jewel shards while she could be opening gifts
Inuyasha was thinking silently 'Her birthday It's already been a year. The Full moon (NOT THE NEW MOON) will also be that night Wait that means... .'
"But it will be my birthday how about if you go with me and I only leave for three hours only three please!" Kagome looked in his eyes she could
tell she was breaking him about it.
'Mabye if were only gone for a couple of hours we'd be back by ten and she would still be able too .'
"Fine for three hours no more." Inuyasha knew it was late and she needed to get back to bed.
"Good night Inuyasha and thanks." Kagome leaned forward and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
Inuyasha blushed and turned around so she won't see him and lept back up in the tree.
Kagome went to the sleeping bag and layed down.
'Did I just kiss Inuyasha good night? What is wrong with me?'
