A/N: Yeah, so…the letter in this story is one I actually wrote to a guy I liked who was pissing me off…long story, don't ask, trust me, you DON'T wanna know. Anyways…it kinda models real-life, with a few creative liberties here and there. Please review!

The Letter He'll Never See

Snitch opened up his notebook and stared at the letter written inside of it for the umpteenth time that day. He'd written it in 4th period, glaring murderously at the back of Skittery's head all the while.

Stupid bastard.

But…he still loved him just the same. He sighed inwardly. 'We broke up, yeah I get it' he thought. 'But that doesn't mean I can't love him, right? RIGHT!'

He shot a look around the room, and thought to himself that now would be the perfect time for the voices in his head to start talking back to him.

But they didn't.

So he sighed, and re-read the letter. Again.

This is what it said:

'Who can hate you? I'd love to raise my hand. I'd probably even get it halfway up, but my conscience would eat at me. It's both our faults we're in this lovely little mess; miscommunication is a killer.

But make no mistake: Your facts, your…assumptions were wrong, and you hurt me. I just wanted to give myself some closure, and I'm sorry if you thought otherwise.

But where in the name of GOD do you get off sounding so condescending! You have no right to talk to me like I'm some silly little boy, and you're so much wiser than me. They should just take out your brain and give it to Mush. At least he treats me like a person.

I apologize. I lose control of my tongue when I'm angry. But I'm praying for a harness, and that things can go back to the way they were. You know, when we were actually speaking to each other. And while we're at it, pull the mallet out of your ass that makes you believe you're so much better than everyone else. Blink says I've just gotta roll with it, and I say "Fat chance!" And I know that I have flaws too, but friends overlook each others' flaws.

Now I'll bring this to a close, because I'm doing no one any good by just dwelling on the past. But I will NOT change to fit a mold. And I hope you don't either.'

Snitch sighed. He knew he was never going to send it, and for five full minutes, he just stared at it. Then, finally, he ripped it out, crumpled it into a ball, and threw it away.

'This chapter is over' he thought. 'Time to start with a blank page.'

EL FIN

So…whaddya think? I realize it's tres short, but that's OK, the point is not the length of the plot, not when the letter pretty much IS the plot. So…please review!
