Title: Relaxation
Pairing: Very light Hiro/Suguru (maybe more like Suguru-->Hiro...)
Notes: Again for a challenge community on livejournal. First time writing for this series and these characters (much less anything remotely concerning this pairing), so hope it turned out okay.
"Fujisaki, I'm leaving," Hiro called where he stood in the doorway of the studio, looking in at the younger boy still hunched over his keyboard. Everyone else had long since gone home, and most of the lights in the building were even off already. "What about you?"
"I'm going to stay for a little longer," Suguru answered distractedly, without even looking up from the paper he was currently hurriedly writing on.
Sighing, Hiro walked over to him, placing his hands on Suguru's shoulders. Suguru jumped, startled, before turning around to look up at him questioningly.
"You need to relax more," Hiro told him firmly, continuing when Suguru opened his mouth, probably to protest. "You do. You think we haven't noticed how tired you've been during rehearsals lately? Even Shuichi's noticing, and you know how dense he is."
"I'm fine," Suguru insisted, hand beginning to subconsciously play with the pencil he was still holding. "There's only a week left until the concert, and we still have things to work on for it. After that, I'll rest more."
Hiro reached down and took his hand, stopping the unconscious movement and taking the pencil from him, running his hand through his long brown hair and placing it behind his ear. "We can all work on everything tomorrow. You don't have to do it all by yourself, you know. That's part of the point of having many people in a group; more people to split the work between."
Suguru hesitated, glancing back over his shoulder at the papers lying there, then back up to Hiro standing before him. Hiro gave him an expectant look, and finally Suguru sighed. "Fine," he mumbled, turning to gather all of his things before standing to leave.
With a triumphant smile, Hiro patted him on the back, saying, "There you go!"
They left the studio, and then the building, together. "Want a ride?" Hiro asked.
Suguru immediately turned his head to look up at him. "What?"
"A ride," Hiro repeated, pointing at his motorcycle as they neared it. He walked the rest of the way over to it and grabbed his helmet, slipping it on before grabbing the extra and tossing it to Suguru. "Get on."
"But, I can take the subway like usual..."
"Stop being so...tense, Fujisaki!" Hiro said with an over exaggerated sigh, followed by a smile. "It's fun."
Once again hesitating, Suguru looked down at the helmet in his hands, before sighing and seemingly deciding. He placed it over his head and walked over to Hiro and the bike.
Hiro leaned over to him, reaching under his neck with a look of concentration. "Nakano-san!" Suguru asked in surprise at the sudden closeness.
There was a click. Leaning away again with a satisfied nod, Hiro said, "There, now it's buckled up right."
Suguru felt under his neck for the fastener straps of the helmet, finding them snuggly fit together. With a small sigh, he nodded.
Hiro sat down on the bike before patting the space behind him. "Here, get on." Obeying, Suguru cautiously swung one leg over the bike, sitting down. "Now, hold on tight."
Before Suguru had a chance to say anything to that, Hiro had started the motorcycle and they were moving. With a small "eep", Suguru leaned forward before he even realized what he was doing and put both arms around Hiro's chest, holding on tightly.
They continued moving, reaching the road, and Suguru gradually relaxed, though he still held onto Hiro just as tightly for fear of falling off. Leaning forward a little more to rest the side of his head against the sturdy back in front of him, he decided this wasn't all that bad.
Maybe he should relax a little more often.
