Chapter one
: Flashback:
Sara was pacing up and down in the break room with her cell phone clutched to her ear.
"Sara?"
"Yeah?" She snapped in frustration as she put her phone down.
"Sorry" She said, as she turned round to face nick. "What's up?"
"Grissom's handing out assignments"
Sara smiled and followed Nick towards Grissom's office.
"Nick, warrick robbery downtown. Sara, Catherine homicide and Greg your with me" Grissom finished handing out the slips. Catherine read over it a few times before handing it to Sara.
"Oh God" Sara began shaking "please no"
"Sara? What is it?" Catherine asked her colleague with genuine concern.
Sara remained silent for a few moments before taking her eyes of the slip of paper and looking up to face Catherine.
"We have to get there now"
Pulling up outside their crime scene Sara emerged from the car and ran towards the house. Yellow tape cornered of the house; police sirens were ringing through the air and crowds of people standing around gossiping and speculating about the events that had taken place in the house before them.
Sara made her way up to the tape only to be stopped by a young looking police officer, by this time Catherine has caught up with her.
"Whoa miss" the officer said whilst holding Sara back from entering the house. "You can't go in there"
"CSI Sidle and Willows" Sara replied trying to remain calm.
"I'm Sorry," the officer said apologetically as he moved aside to allow Sara and Catherine by.
"CSI?" A man asked as they entered in to the house, nodding in response he continued. "Its this way". He turned and walked down the hallway and turned into a room.
Sara and Catherine both stood taking the scene in that was before them. Blood splattered across the four walls of the room and then body on the floor- a young woman looking like a broken china doll; her eyes paralysed open with fear.
"Where's Chelsea" Catherine and the officers in the room all turned towards Sara.
"Chelsea?" Catherine asked Sara confused.
"Where is she?" She whispered again, ignoring Catherine's question. The officer who had shown them in walked up to Sara.
"Miss.?" he asked softly and waited until Sara made eye contact with him before continuing. "Do you know this woman?" he asked indicating to the body on the floor.
Sara nodded. Her eyes fell back on the woman's body. "She's…. She's my sister"
