A pretty short story with Jack and Nami. I've never played A Wonderful Life but I've read plenty about it. So I'm sorry if Nami seems a bit weird, and I'm sorry if it's slightly confusing... I wrote this at :I'm not joking: 1:11 a.m. Probably wasn't in the right state of mind and i'm probably not now either. Well, hope it entertains you even if just for a sliver of a second.
Disclaimer: I don't own Harvest Moon just this notebook...that I write in...at extremely weird times i.e. 1:11 a.m. Oh, and parts of this fic I was inspired by one of my favorite animes and I used that anime as my title. yeah...that original thing don't belong to me either...
"Nami." My head snapped up and I saw Jack watching me.
"What do you want?" I turned back to stare at the water.
He stood up from his crouch and folded his arms behind his head, "I'm sorry you know. I was just playing around."
" What kind of playing was that? Well, why don't you just go play with your Celia some more." Standing, I made to leave.
"Nami." Wrapping his arms around my shoulders, he rested his head on top of my own. "I'm sorry. You're right; I shouldn't play around like that. 'Cause I love you, ne?" he whispered.
"Well, sometimes you just don't act like it." He's too flirtatious sometimes…
"Didn't know you wanted me all to yourself." Jack laughed softly.
"That's not what I meant!"
"Sorry, sorry; I know. But what is it that you do want?"
"For you to always be with me. Don't leave me alone. Don't ever leave." I clutched his sleeve.
"I won't. I'll be here. Right here, waiting."
Turning around, I hugged him tight.
"I'll love you till my heart has none left to give," He kissed my forehead, "my hime."
Jack stood on the bridge staring out at the sunset.
Words rang in his ears. "I have to leave for a little while. Don't know when I'll be back though… I'm a traveler by heart, Jack. When my urge is satisfied, I'll be back and I can dedicate my whole heart to you. I love you, Jack, wait for me."
How long have you been gone for? It's felt like centuries but I'll wait.
"I'll be here. Right here waiting," he whispered to the wind, "waiting for my hime."
