Achi And The Wolf

By Ashley Ortiz

On a cold winters night a young woman named Achi was walking along a trail, when a wolf appeared out of now where.

Achi was not afraid though. She had always had a way with animals. Although this one was different in everyway possible way. The wolf and Achi glared at each other for a while. She was testing him. She was trying to see if the wolf had an demonic ora of good or bad, but she couldn't. It had no demonic ora. There was only one explanation for an animal without a demonic ora. The wolf was not alive. For some reason someone had resurrected him. That peron must be very powerful she thought. And at that exact instint the wolf pounced at her. She drew her weapon quick as lightning and blocked him. Now the wolf was testing her. But not in the same way she had tested him. He was testing her on skill. That was the way wolves would see if the person was worthy enough to approach the them. He jumped back astounded by how quickly she had drawn her weapon. He took another step back and knelt. Another test she thoght. She didn't approach him just yet, if she did she knew she would surely die. The wolf stayed down for another second, then came back up. Achi calmly walked toward the wolf. The wolf growled, but Achi knew that he was just trying to scare her agian. She kept her pace and slowly, but swiftly put her hand out. The wolf was the one to come to her hand now. But he stood there with a puzzled look on his face, then took a step back. What is he doing she thought. Then she heard something behind her. A rustle in the bushes. She turned around as soon as she did the wolf pounced in front of her and growled. The was odd she thought. Why was the wolf doing this? Once he sees your cool he shoudn't act like this. And who was this mysterious person the wolf was gaurding. "No" it couldn't was this the person who resurrected. But how, he was just a little boy. He couldn't of resurrected the wolf. "You there drop your weapon." Does he really expect me to drop my weapon. "No, why is that wolf there helpin' you? And are you the one that resurrected him?"Achi asked with no feeling. He answered back just as plain as she had said it, "Yes, and why do you care so much? Better yet why is Liko not growling or hurting you? WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO TO MY WOLF?" "Mothing I just tested him. And he tested me right back and thought I was worthy enogh to get near him." "Impossible! Liko goes to no one!" "He sure went to you." Achi mumbeled under her breath. ut before the boy could get another word out she was gone.

When she was well out of sight of the boy she heard a twig snap to her right. She turned aroung with her weapon in her hand and saw Liko. She was relieved. She had really not felt like fighting. She called the wolf to her and he came. Well that's strange I coud have sworn I left him with his owner. "Come here Liko", the wolf obeyed. What a well trained dog.I think I'll take you on my journey for the Legendary One. But where to find him is the big question. As we started our journey toward the west I noticed a strange wind blowing, what could it be I wandered.
