Another School AU (aren't they cool?)

Ok, before we start, we'll review the names for those who don't know:

Robin- Dick Grayson

Raven- Raven Roth

Beast Boy- Garfield Logan

Starfire- Kori Anders

Cyborg- Victor Stone

And I'll add more names when I add more characters. And this is just more of a prologue to see if anyone likes it. So, in the name of so many writers: Read and Review!

Raven walked through the crowded hallway, bumping into numerous people as she tried to reach her classroom. She was average-sized for her age, and had dyed her hair purple which matched her violet eyes.

"The first day of school. Joy…" she muttered, entering the room. Raven examined the science room, noticing it had red tiles near the door, which branched out a bit before the rest of the floor was consumed by all-white tiles, and, for some strange reason, had no windows. She chose a table towards the back of the wide room, the tardy bell ringing as she did so. With the ringing of the bell came a few students, anxiously looking around for their friends from last year and sitting by them. Before chatter could ensue, a rather pudgy teacher trudged in. She started the traditional "I'll be your teacher blah blah blah" speech, making most students roll their eyes.

"Okay, class, I'm Mrs. Brown, and I'll be your-" the teacher was interrupted before she could finish by two late students.

"Sorry for being late, miss, we kinda got lost with the crowd and stuff…" the boy that had just rushed in was wearing a dark green shirt and loose blue jeans. He also seemed to have dyed his hair green, which accentuated his green eyes, and was a bit shorter than average height. He stopped as Mrs. Brown gave him a glare. The other student, a girl about the same height of this boy, was wearing a neon-green soccer jersey with blue jeans and had brown eyes, about the same color of her hair.

"Go take a seat, you two," the teacher said, pointing at the only non-full table- Raven's. The two walked over, the boy taking the last seat. Apparently Mrs. Brown didn't notice, because the girl was left with no seat.

"Where am I supposed to seat Gar?" the girl whispered.

"Find your own seat, I got here first," the boy, now known as 'Gar' answered.

"Fine. I will." The girl took a chair from a table where the computers were perched and placed it next to Gar, who was now between Raven and the other student.

"Hel-lo. What's your name? I'm Shajik, and this is Garfield," the girl asked Raven, pointing to Gar. Garfield turned to hear Raven's answer.

Raven stared at them, then answered, "Raven. Don't call me Rae."
