Author's note: This is a rather happy ending/start for Ranma / Akane's life. I wanted to start my Fanfic with something more happy than sad

The kiss in Sunset
Ranma looked around. The room was in ruins. He was so busy fighting Ryoga, Mousse, and his father to notice the destruction they made. Ranma sighed. He always had this terrible feeling in his stomach after destroying the Tendo household. They were so nice to let him and his idiotic hafather stay there and all he and his father did was to destroy the whole place.
Ranma looked at Akane. Suddenly an idea struck him.
"Akane, get dressed." He said after seeing that she was still in the wedding dress.
Akane looked up. Clearly the shock of the failed wedding still lingers in her thoughts as she obeyed Ranma without any protest.
Ranma quickly dress...er…undressed and continued helping the rest of the Tendos and his father clean up the mess.
When Akane came down, she was wearing a plain tank top and blue jean shorts. Ranma took her hand and lead her out.
Hand in hand, the couple walks down the street of Nerima towards the beach. Both had thoughts of the failed wedding in their head. Ranma thinking that most of this is his fault for dragging Akane down from the bedroom just to get the Spring of Drowned Men water.
When they reached the beach, Ranma led Akane up a cliff overlooking the about-to-set sun. Ranma put his arm around Akane and she couldn't help but to think how strong and warm the arm is.
Ranma looked at Akane. A tear appeared on her face. He slowly wiped it.
It's time thought Ranma
"Akane…"
Akane looked up and found herself drowning in the dark brown pools of his eyes. "um…"
"I never had a chance to really asked you and you never really said yes...but I had this for a while and…well…now I want you to have it. " With that, Ranma took a small fuzzy box out of his pocket and gave it to Akane.
Akane's heart fluttered but she just couldn't open the box. What's inside? Is it a trick? What if it's not…
"Open it"
Akane's hand trembled as she slowly opened the box. A beautiful diamond ring glittered up at her. Rainbow colors shoot out of the ring. Akane felt a tear appear on her face. She felt something near her ears.
"Will you marry me?" whispered Ranma.
Akane's face lit up as she jumped up and hugged Ranma.
"Yes," she whispered back.
Coming out of the hug, Akane looked into Ranma's eyes. He's so cute… She felt her head lean forward. Only a speck of dust is between her lips and his.
Then their lips meet, a seal of the old life and the beginning of a new, the kiss in sunset.
After note: This is a very short story but I will write a longer story
