A little known love from many years past now revealed in anger and jealousy. Sheshomarus secret of despair was discovered by young Jaken in his first month with him.
It was a foggy evening and Jaken was bathing in a nearby river. All of a sudden he saw Shesomaru walking toward the river. Jaken ran and hid behind a bush and quickly started to dress. He was about to run out from where he was hiding when he heard Sheshomaru talking to himself, holding a white water lily.
"How my heart longs for you, I cannot live without you forever. I must show you my strength and kill my mutt of a brother to win you heart. It will be my destiny. For you Kagome, my love." He said as he gently placed the flower in the water.
