Chapter one
An ordinary day with an ordinary family with a not so ordinary son Garfield Logan ,or G.L. as he likes to be called, had a lethal disease. Cured with an injection of a green highly reactive chemical (can you guess where I am going?) That had no immediate side effects (guess not.) However he had an operation after a reoccurrence of the disease there was no way he could have the medicine again so he had the virus re moved by destroying many of the cells they took root in. After he had an extreme amount of fluid loss and needed an iv. A delivery error sent his iv to an animal research lab. G.L. received a chemical with trace amounts of animal DNA even dinosaur DNA was in there; this was supposed to be used to create a super animal with traits of all the animals that ever existed. This chemical reacted with the chemical used to cure his disease enabling him to change into any animal, all he had to do was picture it in his head and boom. He was abandoned by his parents who did not want a "green freak" for a son he turned green grew an upside down fang, and then he dyed his hair green for effect. One day a boy about his age asked him if he was Garfield Logan G.L. then said "who wants to know" the boy then said he was Robin of the Teen Titans and asked if G.L. wanted to join. Not wanting to be a hobo anymore he accepted G.L. then said "Do not call me Garfield Logan, he died when he was abandoned by his parents call me...hmm what's a good super hero name call me...Beastboy."
