Don't Sue

"You have ruined more than one life by your actions. Butterfly effect, you know." He sat back in his chair and stared at her in amazement.

"How, may I ask you, have I ruined any lives? I only-"

"Have the worlds best interest at heart, I know…Did you know…you probably did…He is gone, forever, that poor child that you sent head first into a suicide mission still lives, though. Going to rid yourself of him as well? You forsook the safety of us all to finish it, of course, many are dead because of it, do you feel remorse?" She looked tired, speaking in monotone.

"Why would I not? They were like my own children to me," he seemed to show his true age for a second.

"Right, your pet projects, you mean. I know you gently pushed several people to be in the position they're in now; Severus, the Potters, the Longbottoms, my family, and so many more. You are no better than the tyrant that was just put to rest!" her voice rose with anger as she finished.

"You don't really mean that! The death of your father has upset you more than you let on," he aid wisely.

"Don't give me that, old man. My entire life has been a sham and the world is in shambles and you have the utter gall to say that I am just upset. You must not know what you have done to be so calm. Heh, I would have killed me on sight if I were you." She crossed her arms, looking down at him from her standing position.

"Now Miss-"

"Don't speak my name! You have defiled it enough with your foul tongue. Well, it ends here. Hope you watched the sun set, it was the last time you will ever see it." Darkness pervaded every nook and cranny of the office, slowly killingthe old man in its tender embrace. "Goodnight, Albus."
