"Kouga.."Ayame looked down her hair covering her tearing face, 'How could he forget?' She sat on a rock her wolves surrounding her. 'The worst thing he could do is break a marriage proposal.' Ayame wiped the tears steaming from her emerald eyes. She stood up and looked around. Her wolves stared at her whimpering."He'll have to remember the lunar rainbow someday. Some how." She walked slowly towards the river in front of her, she sat at the river bank closing her eyes. "Maybe if I become stronger, he'll love me."
A whirlwind went hurtling towards Kagome, and Inuyasha. In the few breif moments it took for him to appear, Inuyasha had his tetsusaiga drawn. The whirlwind vanished and a young demon stood on Inuyasha's head. "Hello Kagome." He said with his cocky smirk on his face. Jumping off the hanyou he took her hands in his. "Dearest Kagome I have come to see your looks once more." His smirk was still on his face.
Inuyasha growled as he glared at the ignorent wolf. "Why the hell do you come here if all you do it's flirt with Kagome?" He hissed stepping closer his sword above his head.
Kagome glanced at Inuyasha,"Sit!" She turned he attention back to Kouga as the hanyou was sent deep into the dirt. "Kouga how can you still , love me? Don't you remember anything about the lunar rainbow or Ayame at all?" She sighed,"I don't think I'm the one you should be gaga over. Kouga you should love Ayame like you love me." She smiled weakly.
"I cannot love anyone but you." He smirked,"I'd give my life for you." He stared at Inuyasha who happened to be twiching at this time. "But I must be off, before the mutt decides to attack." He said letting go of her soft hands and dissapearing in a twister.
She threw rocks into the river them making abig splash. 'If he loves Kagome because she sense's jewel shards, who says I cannot?' She stared at her reflection, her emerald eyes watered, 'And what have I become? I changed myself for some cocky demon." She dipped her hand in the water breaking the surface, the ripple making her image fuzzy. She stood up,if only he were to see another lunar rainbow, would he remeber the promise?'
Ginta, and Hakkaku as usual were miles behind Kouga waving their hands, yelling for their boss to slow down. In a matter of minutes they gave up and sat down on the ground catching their breath. "If only he were to remember Ayame." Hakkaku said loudly.
"would he know what she's talking about?" Ginta asked,"Would he remember the thing called a lunar rainbow? Do they even exsist?"He added.
Kouga paused, he stared at the small river,'I did promise her, but alots changed. Kagome is my true love she should know.' He walked silently along the rivers shore before he scented the scent of Iris. "What the hell is she doing out here?" He muttered slowly inching his way towards where the scent was strongest.
Why?" She asked hugging he knees,"Why must you love a mortal woman?" Her sight turned blury.She barely got her words out in between sobs. "I trained for you, I sacrificed my whole life just so I'd be a good wife." She clenched her fists,her hair draped over her pale face. She kicked a rock into the river it splashing. Her expression was full of pain and torture.

Ya I know it's kind've short, but I had big time writers block while thinking this up. Hopefuly the next chapter will be better.
