Chapter 1

Dreams

Catty sat up with a start, she had just had the weirdest dream, where a woman had risen up out of the bay in a sparkling light, weirder still was that the woman looked incredibly like her friend Tianna. But it couldn't be Tianna had died 2 months ago when she bound the Atrox to shadow.

"O well," Catty thought with a sigh, "I'll ask Vanessa and Serena about it in the morning. If they don't know we can go talk the Jimina."

The next morning Catty met Serna and Vanessa at Starbucks before school. As catty told them about her dream the two exchanged queer glances. When Catty finished she looked up at them and said, " What do you make of it?"

Vanessa looked around quickly and said, "Well Catty I was telling Serena this right as you walked in. I had a dream just like yours except that mine didn't end with her prayer to Selen; it continued the white gown turned into jeans and a slinky purple halter as she started walking up the beach to what looked like Los Angeles. And then Serena told me,"

"I told Vanessa that I had the same dream only that a she walked toward the city she stopped as though she had heard voices. She turned and then I saw us! We were there, three figures yelling at her to come Vanessa in blue, Catty in green, and myself in red. As she saw us she ran to embrace us and, well I cant remember the rest, I think Colleen might have woken me up around that time."

Catty looked at her amazed and then said, " Wow that is so weird, are we like seeing the future or something?"

"Maybe we should talk to Jimina, she might be able to tell us what these weird dreams mean. I mean she is like our mentor now right?" Vanessa put in.

"Sounds good!"

"Ya works for me! Come on lets go Vanessa can you drive us?" Serena said casually

"WHAT?" Vanessa screamed, "I'm not skipping school I have a test today!"

"Calm down Vanessa, it's ok it's not the end of the world." Catty said exasperatedly

"Fine, I'll go but you owe me big! That test is really important."

"How about this," Catty said "I'll customize 2 more pairs of jeans for you. Ok?"

"I guess." Vanessa said trying to hide the excitement in her voice.

"Are we ready yet? " Serena yelled back at them.

"Ya"

"Alright lets go!"
