How can you love when your heart is torn open by the very one you love? How can you live when the principles you have believed in all your life have been destroyed by the chancellor you once supported? How can you survive when, deep down, you know that your beloved one brought the downfall to the democracy you had sought to protect, the very democracy that was your life?
So this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause.
Your heart is slowing down.
You wonder how Anakin will react to your death.
But in your broken heart, he had already died.
