Clone Chii
Summary: Hideki's former boss gives him a persocom that he doesn't want anymore, it reminds him of Chii. For all she could say is 'Ray.' Rewrite of Orosai's 'Clone Chi'
Chapter One: The Gift
"Ueda-san, is there anything that you need to talk to me about?" asked Hideki as he took a seat in the Chiroru bakery.
"You don't need to be so formal Hideki," Hiroyasu said smiling, and then he looked down with depression. "Well, after Chii came working here I decided to save money for another persocom. I bought one, she's really pretty, but she reminds me too much of Yumi."
"Oh, so what are you going to do with her?" Hideki asked solemnly he knew of the story about Yumi and his former boss.
"Well, I've been wondering if you could take her in."
"Well….I mean…" Hideki sputtered choking on his coffee.
"I understand if you think it's too much responsibility," Hiroyasu said apologetically.
"No, no, no, it's okay!" Hideki said quickly spilling his coffee.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'm sure I can handle both her and Chii."
"Well……thank you," Hiroyasu thanked.
Later that Day……
"Chii, I'm home," Hideki sighed heavily, then remembering their new roommate he felt the edges of his mouth twitch.
The blond persocom ran over to Hideki giving him a hug, "Chii!"
"Was Chii good for Hibiya-san?" Hideki decided that he should keep their new roommate's existence unnoticed for now.
"Yes, Hibiya-san gave Chii a new dress," she answered running back into the room bringing out a bag.
"I also have someone you might want to meet," Hideki said in a secretive way.
"Chii?"
"Come in Ray."
A/N: I'm not really a Chobits fan, but I thought of this idea while reading the manga. The first publisher of this story was Orosai, but she kind of failed…….I AM SOOO SORRY FOR THOSE THAT READ OROSAI'S VERSION AND NOW ARE MAD AT HER IT'S ALL MY FAULT! SORRY! SORRY! Okay, there are some parts that I'm not clear with, but I tried my best!
Okay I know that Chii isn't really blond, but a kind of white blond. I made some OCness so please forgive me. –bow- Flames allowed! But try to have a reason then doing it just for fun.
