Title: Healing

DiscIaimer I don't own any of the characters of Gundam Seed. It has been a week since the end of the war. Kira and Lacus have settled down at Rev. Melchi's beach house. Lacus tries to heal Kira's shattered heart, but can she? ONE-SHOT KxL.

"Melchio-san, have you seen Kira anywhere?" asked Lacus as she walked into the kitchen of the Rev's beach house. They had arrived a week ago on earth and for the whole time they'd had been there, Kira has been very depressed. It shattered the songstress heart to see Kira like that.

"Well I haven't seen him, but I do believe that he is outside on the beach" he replied with a chuckle.

"Thank you very much" Lacus bowed respectedly and left to go find Kira.

Lacus walked outside and headed towards the beach. There she saw Kira looking up at the night sky. When she was close enough she touched his shoulder. He was surprised by her touch and quickly turned to see who it was.

"Oh, hi Lacus" he said in a releaved voice.

"What were you thinking about so deeply?' she asked settling next to him on the cold beach ground.

"Those that we have lost in the war."

Lacus looked away, "You mean flay..."

"Yeah, especialy her."

Lacus looked hurt and Kira saw it, "Are you alright?" he asked with worry.

"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" she lied and Kira saw right through it.

"I know something is wrong Lacus, and I think I know what it is too." She looked away and this confirmed what Kira thought was wrong.

"It will take me a while to get over her death you know?" he asked.

She chocked it out."I know..." was all she said as she got up to leave.

Kira hated himself for doing this to her. 'What should I do...should I stop her? Follow her? I don't know' he thought.

"Goodnight Kira..." she said in a normal way, but Kira very well knew she was in pain.

"Night..." he replied. After she left Kira thought about all the thing she had done for him. 'And I haven't given her anything in return, even though she didn't ask for anything.'

'I need to repay her somehow, but how?' After some thought he finally decided to follow her.

When he got to her room he saw that the light was turned off.'Did she already got to sleep?' He knocked on her door. He was surprised when he herd her say,"Come in."

He entered." Did you need anything Kira-kun?"

"I just wanted to do this" he walked over to her bed and kissed he passionately.

After the kiss she looked at him in a daze,"What..." she asked.

He smiled,"I don't want to linger in the past, but look forward to out future Lacus" he beamed. She smiled back.

"Don't worry I'll be there for you to heal your heart" she replied. At this he beamed even more.

She pulled him down and kissed him. "Kira" she said lifting the blankets inviting him. He smiled and took off his shoes and jacket then slipped under the covers.

He turned around and kissed her one more time," I love you...goodnight Kira" she said as she snuggeld up to he chest.

"I love you to" he replied with a grin on his face. They both knew that everything would be alright from now on. Lacus was Kira's healer and he was her lover. With that thought in mind he drifted off and dreaming about his pink princess.
