His chest moved up and down as his lungs racked in pain, he layed on his back as his body ringed with pain every time he took a breath. He slowly opened his eyes when his vision was blurry until a girl walked up placing a cold rag against his head staring down at him softly.
Shinichi...Can you hear me?...
Shinichi's breathing grew as he took in a breath from hearing her soft tone of voice. He opened his mouth, then shut it not able to find the words to say to her. To exhausted, to pained to see her again as his heart wrenched with guilt. All he could do was close his eyes again, hopeing….just hopeing she would understand. Ran kneeled down beside him on his bed where he laid, her eyes looking at him painfully at his pained and ashamed look on his face. She then leaned in towards him more and brushed his bangs away from his eyes and let out a small sigh and smiled gently.
Mou…..Shinichi….
Shinichi slowly opened his eyes again seeing her leaning towards him, seeing how she studied his face. He opened his eyes wider then looked to the other side of the room with guilt. Ran then looked at him with a yet more pained look.
Shinichi…….
Shinichi slowly turned his head to see she was now more close to his face looking at him with a soft smile. Shinichi then tried opening his mouth to say something when she shook her head and smiled and took his hand into hers and placed it on her heart smiling softly her eyes gazing at him lovingly.

Shinichi's eyes widened then softened with a yet loved look in his eyes and tried to say something when she softly layed her hands on his chest then leaned in and brushed her lips against his and slowly pulled apart looking at him more lovingly as she stayed by his side for the rest of the night watching over him.
