It was the International Food Festival at school and Momiji was excited.

He always loved to go around to all the different booths and try all the different foods from all over the world.

He especially liked the American section.

He was walking through the American section when he smelled something heavenly. He lofted over to the scent. He looked down at it and it looked wonderful. He tried to read what it was but realized that the students that made it also made the sign in English.

"What's this?" He asked the three students behind the booth.

The smiled at one another. "It's meat."

"What kind?" He looked around to make sure that Haru was nowhere around. "Is it… cow?"

One of the students mirrored what Momiji did. "no."

"You have to guess for yourself!" One piped in. "But I'll tell you this: It is an American southern favorite!"

Momiji thought for a moment then shrugged. "I guess I'll try it."

The three other students smirked and handed him a sample. "Here you go!"

"Thanks!" He smelled it once. It smells…familiar…I think I've had it before…He shrugs and takes a bite.

His taste buds go into a state of wonderful shock. "This is wonderful! Are you sure you can't tell what this is?"

The looked at him strongly and nodded.

Kyou and Haru came up from behind him and looked down at what the usagi was eating and looked down at the little card.

Unfortunately for little Momiji, they could read it.

"Uh..Momiji…" Kyou said.

Momiji looked up at his older cousin. "Yeah!"

"Do you know what that IS?"

He shook his head. "No! But it's tasty!"

Kyou started to laugh.

Haru butted in. "Momiji…." Haru whispered what it was into his ear.

Momiji went pale and dropped the plate.

The three behind the booth joined Kyou in laughing.

III

I live in the south and I'VE actually eaten the food. It's quite tasty really. If I've offended anyone, well…to bad.

I don't know about you guys...but I have an International food day at my school.
